Msgr Bishop Council 2112 is located off Semoran Blvd (Hwy 436) about two miles north of Colonial (Hwy 50) on Cornelia Ave in Orlando, FL. The council hall is located behind Catholic Charities. Heading north on Semoran turn right on Cornelia. A half block up on the left is the council hall. Council Meetings
General Business Meeting is the 1st Monday of every month, 4th Degree Meeting is the 2nd Monday of every month, Columbus Club Meeting is the 4th Monday of each month at 8:00 pm. Check the calendar(s) in our newsletter for meetings and events.
About our Council
Orlando,FL Council #2112, Knights of Columbus, was instituted as the 15th Council in the State of Florida on March 28th, 1920 with the initiation of a large class of candidates into the first, second, & third degrees of the order. The degrees were exemplified by teams from Tampa Council #667 led by the State Deputy, Colonel H. P. Baya of Tampa. The Charter was started with 42 pioneers in Columbianism for Orlando.
No Council ever started with more enthusiasm than did Council #2112 and the ambition of it’s membership can well be appreciated by the fact that less than 2 months after the Council’s first meeting it was voted upon at the May 18th, 1920 meeting that delegates to the upcoming State Convention meeting in Jacksonville on May 25th, be instructed to extend an invitation to the State Council to hold it’s 1921 annual meeting in Orlando as guests of the “Baby” Council of Florida.!
